Curriculum

Discover the benefits of being bilingual!

Early Steps engages children with our unique annual curriculum that includes tailored instruction at each age level.  Our weekly themed lessons offer multiple means of engagement that teach children mutual respect for diverse cultures, and promote an authentic Spanish immersion experience. Our proprietary curriculum was developed by a team of Texas-based educators, and uses a hands-on approach to learning. Effective bilingual curriculum, attachment-based care and ample space for free play and creativity culminate in excellent kindergarten readiness. At the preschool level, children study kindergarten concepts in both English and Spanish.

Our curriculum is theme based, each Spanish theme will be unfolded through topics relevant to the child’s world.  We begin at the self,  home and family, our neighborhood, and then, the world.  We focus on early literacy in English and Spanish.  We follow Pre-K standards adopted by the State of Texas.

What are our child to teacher ratios?

18 – 24 months  8:1

Two’s     10:1

Three’s  10:1

Pre-K   12:1

We are a State Licensed Facility and adhere to standards set by the TDFPS.
